Trezeguet Can't Wait For Milan Match

Juventus striker David Trezeguet talked about tomorrow's eagerly anticipated match against Milan.

Tomorrow night will see the return of Milan-Juventus, one of the classic Serie A fixtures which hasn't been played for over two years, following the Bianconeri's relegation to Serie B last season.

"We will be playing against great players and I'm sure it will be a great match," said Juve striker David Trezeguet ahead of the big match of the 14th matchday of Serie A.

"I've been waiting for the match against Milan for two years," the French striker continued. "We want to go to Milan and show, to ourselves most of all, that we can win against big teams and that we can compete for the highest positions.

"The Scudetto? Juve are a very prestigious team and we should aim for the highest objective. Sure, it will be hard, but the same will go for our opponents if we keep on playing with the same mentality as we have done so far. We're convinced we can compete on the same level as any other team in the league."

Ancelotti Praises Juventus

Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti has praised Juventus ahead of tomorrow's big Serie A match at San Siro and says they have surprised him with their excellent form this season.

The Bianconeri were expected to struggle this campaign following their post-Calciopoli promotion, however they have surprised the experts by roaring into second place in the table.

"Juventus are always a great team, an opponent which fights till the end," said Carletto.

"I did not think that they could reach these levels so soon. Juventus changed a lot, but still managed to build on quality player a good organization. They hurried things up.

"For the fourth place, this game is important because we are a bit behind. From this point of view it’s more important for us, because Juventus are already better placed than us."

Ancelotti also commented on Ronaldo's latest injury, which will rule him out of tomorrow's game. The ex-Parma tactician expects El Fenomeno to return in time for FIFA Club World Cup in Japan in a fortnight's time.

"The absence of Ronaldo tomorrow evening will not influence Milan, as we would have played in the same way. I think that for Japan Ronaldo can be available," Ancelotti concluded.

Jesus, Vin, you should know Palladino is right footed.
well guess what...he crosses better with his left foot, and plays better on the left side of the field

I am right footed, but I too have a much better cross with my left foot, and play on the left hand side of the pitch

I had written down 2. That one and this:

---------------Buffon------------------
Zebina---Legro---Chiellini---Molinaro
---------Zanetti---Nocerino------------
Iaquinta-----Del Piero--------Nedved
--------------Trezeguet----------------

I put down the more controversial one, and I want to see Almiron back on the pitch.
That indeed was indeed controversial and in this one Zebina & Molinaro are sitting ducks. Interesting formations you have there but remember this is Milan. Don't get me wrong I would love for any formation that would make us thrash.

Milan unveil Club World Cup squad

Carlo Ancelotti has named his 23-man squad for the Club World Cup in Japan, including the injured Ronaldo and Marek Jankulovski.

Milan are participating champions of Europe in the tournament that runs from December 7 to 16.

Although Ronaldo and full-back Jankulovski are currently out of action, the Coach hopes to have them both back in time to play in Japan.

Il Fenomeno has been ruled out of Saturday’s Serie A match with Juventus and most likely the Champions League decider with Celtic on Tuesday evening due to a recurring calf problem.

Under FIFA rules Milan can bring 23 players, but Alexandre Pato cannot take part, as the 18-year-old’s registration can only be made official from January 2008.

The Rossoneri only enter the competition from the semi-finals on December 13, where they will face one of Sepahan, Waitakere United and Urawa Red Diamonds.

Boca Juniors enter from the other semi-final and the trophy will be assigned in Yokohama on December 16.

Meanwhile, Boca Juniors have been told they cannot use new signing Juan Roman Riquelme in the Club World Cup.

The Argentine just completed his move from Villarreal, but is not eligible because he missed the “strict deadline of Friday November 23 2007 for submitting a final list of players,” explained FIFA.

Riquelme was not on the preliminary list handed in last week.

Milan squad: Dida, Kalac, Fiori; Cafù, Maldini, Kaladze, Nesta, Simic, Jankulovski, Bonera, Serginho, Oddo; Emerson, Gattuso, Seedorf, Gourcuff, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Brocchi; Inzaghi, Gilardino, Kakà, Ronaldo.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

lol Of course Riquelme cannot be included, Milan has to get lucky or what? ;)

thats weird, but pall cuts in alot from the left if you have notcied and shoots with his right, thats a common thing for managers to do, to employ and right footed player on the left, vice versa.

yeah right.

last time i saw, when he played in berlusca cup against milan he was running helplessly in the midfield and getting out muscled by milan DM-s. Getting second to every ball in the midfield.

camo is not only creativity but its his pace. tiago doesnt have pace. I rather risk and play marchionni. At least his a proper winger.

Marchionni should start for this game if CR still use 4-4-2 , and yes , we really need to keep Nocerino on the pitch to help Zanetti Handle out Gattuso and Pirlo . i really hope Seedorf out for this game , honestly he surely will make some difference , even if he play , we need someone to bring him down in the first 10 minutes :D

C'mon guys . we can do this !

Forza JUVENTUS !!!
