No suspensions for them either, sadly. :)
Shouldn't Gattuso be suspended for slapping the Cagliari player? (as should the Cagliari player if he retalliated) It was a televised match. Surely he should get a red retrospectively.

Maybe someone with good Italian should e-mail FIGC to bring it to their attention.

Gattuso wasn't banned and he most probably won't be. I guess it wasn't even discussed.

These are the suspended players for next round
Felipe (Udinese), Inzaghi (Atalanta), Barone, Grella (Torino), Couto (Parma), Ferrari (Roma), Juric, Paro, Danilo (Genoa), Montolivo (Fiorentina)

All of them got 1 match suspension

These are the fined teams :
Genoa 19 000 euro
Livorno 16 000 euro
Inter 6 000 euro
Lazio 3 000 euro

INZAGHI MISSING FOR MILAN

AC Milan will be without veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi for Wednesday's Champions League clash at Benfica.

Inzaghi, who is the Rossoneri's leading scorer in Europe's elite club competition this season with three goals netted so far, is struggling with flu and has been ruled out for the midweek encounter in Portugal.

The good news for the European champions is Brazil striker Ronaldo has fully recovered from a thigh injury.

Ronaldo, who made his season debut in Sunday's 2-1 triumph in Cagliari, looked in fine form earning his side a penalty before hitting the post.

However, coach Carlo Ancelotti is set to leave the South American on the bench and play instead with lone striker Alberto Gilardino against Benfica.

"I don't think Ronaldo will play from the start," admitted Ancelotti.

Milan go into the contest in Lisbon knowing that a win would be sufficient to see them through to the next round with a game in hand.

The Rossoneri lead Group D having collected nine points in their last four games and know the importance of this match.

"We want to do well in Portugal," said Gilardino. "We want to make sure we secure qualification in order to be able to focus on our domestic campaign."

A win on Wednesday would be a big morale boost for the Rossoneri, who must brace themselves for a challenging weekend when they host Juventus.

Milan have failed to win a league game at home and cannot afford further slips if they wish to reduce their current 11-point deficit with Serie A leaders Internazionale.

But the defending champions will not have an easy task against Jose Antonio Camacho's side.

Benfica are in desperate need of points if they wish to revive their hopes of progressing to the next round.

The Portuguese giants sit bottom of the group, three points adrift of Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic.

No player knows the task awaiting Benfica better than Rui Costa, who spent five years with Milan before deciding to return home.

"We know it's going to be a very difficult challenge but not impossible," said the Portuguese midfielder.

"We will face Milan with the same respect that we showed against Academica."

Camacho's men go into the encounter inspired by their 3-1 away triumph at Academica Coimbra, which marked their fifth consecutive triumph in the Portuguese SuperLiga.

"This was a very important win for us," admitted Camacho, whose team are second in the Liga standings, four points behind leaders Porto. "Now we must recover our strength in time for Wednesday's game."

The hosts will be without Augustin Binya, who serves the first of a six-match ban against Milan.

The visitors will be without suspended Massimo Ambrosini and the injured Marek Jankulovski.

Milan are hoping to recover experienced midfielder Clarence Seedorf, who sprained his left ankle in training on Saturday.

Seedorf has travelled to Lisbon but it is doubtful whether he will feature in the game.

Trezeguet Tells Milan: Our Attack Is Better

David Trezeguet has turned up the heat ahead of this weekend’s big match at San Siro by declaring that Juventus have a better strikeforce than Milan.

The 30-year-old has been at his prolific best this season and is way ahead at the top of the Serie A scorers charts with 11 goals in just 13 games.

However Trezegol is not the only Juve striker in form as Vincenzo Iaquinta has hit the back of the net six times, Alessandro Del Piero has struck on five occasions, while Raffaele Palladino has also shone despite scoring just once.

This compares with Milan, of whom Alberto Gilardino is the only forward to have scored in Serie A this season, with five strikes to his name.

“Our attack is devastating and better than Milan – the numbers prove that,” Trezeguet told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“We just keep getting better and we really showed our strength against Palermo. Morale is high and we are going to the San Siro to win.

“We know that we are a strong side, but this is the big moment with a direct battle. To win over Milan at the San Siro would be ideal.

“It’s important that we go out there with humility, but we know that we don’t have to fear anyone.”

I like the fact that the players are going for a win and that our morale is so high.
Juve will win, but not becouse we are better, but becouse we want it way more.
Our determination is on top.
1-3 !!!

milanista talking about my post in prediction game
And that was indeed a very good prediction Turk.
:D

By the way, i am not so sure if Ancelotti will be resting all the key players against Benfica. In case Milan lose in Lisboa and Celtic wins in Glasgow against Shakhtar, then Milan will find themselves in a must win position vs Celtic on Tuesday if they want to be group winners and avoid Barcelona, Real, Chelsea or Manchester Utd .

We only need a draw to stay on top of the group, so I don't think Benfica are capable to hold us on that. ;)

PS. I think u didn't get me.
I wasn't talking about prediction, I was saying.. how can u ppl agree on Trez comments saying that Juve has better atack than Milan...

+ Predicting the game 0:3 and higher, is a clear bullshit... but whatever, I don't expect a goalfest there.

Juve's offense is miles better than Milan's offense this season . It goes without saying . Stats speak for themselves , and I recall seeing about 5 Kaka penalties this season . Milan have rarely created goals like they did last year . It could be the age or it could be Kaka's fairly bad form ( compared to his form last year . )

I don't expect Juve to thrash Milan because Milan have too mcuh quality in their side . I do agree with Trez however than our offense is stronger and I don't know why you're denying it .
