Chievo and Genoa.
That's 6 points, they are two sides in absolute free fall. We simply have to beat Crotone at the weekend.

See this is the problem - we have three games bunched together, lost one, then a final where we are expected to play our strongest side, then what do we do for a league game a few days later that we now must win? Play the same players again? Our depth right now with injuries means we'll have players burned out by then, and Crotone will be as fresh as a daisy.

No matter what happens against Lazio the scudetto is far more important. Allegri obviously thinks that we are going to beat Crotone anyway but right now I'd say the best chance for that to happen is pouring at them for half an hour, getting a 2-0 lead or better and then countering their inevitable forced attacks. A drawn out game would turn into another huge problems, fans would get anxious and games spiral from there. This is a team of battlers who are in top 2 form, fighting for their lives. We are taking a stroll in the park, it's a difficult mentality to shift once focus is lost on something. We've taken the scudetto as won and it isn't yet.

I'm anxious at this point but I was more pissed off at the results against Atalanta and Torino with this game on the horizon, simple because of the points swing.

Well Lazio got a huge confidence boost tonight.

Plus we always play our 2nd string in the Coppa so we have that going for us.

Was a shit game but no need for panic. Have faith, the treble dream is alive and well

Remember all the complaining after Nipples game in Coppa? All the we're doomed posts and shit performance etc then we proceeded to go and kick Barca's teeth in?
Yeah,the hope dies last.....

It's just a very concerning performance. The players didn't have any kind of focus or determination. Roma were pretty abject and we've flattered them with that score line.

We'll probably go on to win the league but that was a really weak willed performance when we could have secured some silverware. Doesn't bode well for Cardiff

There was no grit. End of story. You could see that we was happy for just a point and when we took the lead it was like wow :weee: happy days.

No intensity nothing. However, I did expect more fight from our fringe players. It is what it is. Roll on Wednesday. Hopefully that'll be the kick up the back side we need. Then finally secure the title on Sunday against Crotone.
You have a point here.

Roma wheeling grandad out for 3 minutes was the most cringeworthy thing I've seen in a while, and I have been watching Italian commercials today.

:D

So much drama from you, you are like a kid!

Today sucks, yes. No need to freak out people. We are still easily the best team in Italy nothing has changed. We have 2 finals to play that you know our boys will be in the right mind for. I think they want the league to finish so they can focus 100% on the other two big games.

Shame on Max for not playing a team that should have wrapped up the schudetto today.
