How often do you see new signings at other clubs (including bad ones) make an impact in their first few games?

It's very common to see new players impress in their first games as they are on a high, trying everything to make an impression and are unknown to the opposition. We don't seem to take advantage of that.

I'm not saying we should start them all, but Douglas Costa has earned his start over an off form Cuadrado.

Our last new signing I can remember waking straight into the first team was Hernanes

My laptop is fairly new, my internet is good and yet I can't seem to load any streams any more. Had to abandon the 2nd half of this game. I've tried loading streams on chrome, edge and FF and 99% of them do not work

What do you guys use? I just get errors or black screens and it's doing my fucking tits in.

Fantastic comeback, I really thought it was gonna go to hell from the first 20 mins but the lads really dedicated themselves to it so good job.

Khedira is done. Bentancur did more in his short cameo than that fuck up. Matuidi was a goddamn headless chicken at times but at least he isn't a lethargic sack of shet.

Lichst. did some good things including a nice save on a breakthrough but whenever a cross landed on the backpost he ALWAYS lost his battles. Laxalt broke through many many times on his flank and it's clear he is done on a top level, even if this wasn't a relatively bad game from him its still evident. De Sciglio would've done even worse so that's why we need an RB. Pls Beppe, stop lowballing Schalke and just pay a couple mils for Howedes, we've barely spent this summer.

The problem here is that we spent all that money on Berna and now we are like 5-10m difference in signing a starting RB or not and trying to cheap negotiate a loan with option to buy for Höwedes.

Why waste all that money then? When 40m could have improver our starting XI at this exact moment, not wait till February when he maybe starts some game.

He is behind Costa in the picking order as well.

No other team out there would buy 2 upgrades for positions but refuse to play them (And i'm assuming refuse to play both of them at the same time from the start) because we're still obsessed with hard work from our forwards.
