No hybrid BS please to confuse. That its occasionally flexible and changes shape to adapt to situations doesnt mean much. We change change to 4 man D at times in past games when Evra played and we were off the ball, for tactical flexibility. But formation was mainly 3-5-2 all game because Evra spent his time as far up left wing back still and what decided the shape was the 3 man defence when we were in possession with Barzagli and Chiellini being way too high up and to the sides for it to be 4 man defence. People too confused to recognize its 3-5-2 just because of the occasional shift is what we should ignore this time.


So conclude what will be your assessment for main formation and shape for whole game? I say 4-3-3, you say 3-5-2?
