I actually think Motta would be a safer bet. Chivu is a Pirlo level hire. Hardly any experience at the top level. Things could go really south if they don't get some early results in the season. Looks like a sabbatical year for Inda.
it looks like an important crossroad for them. inzaghi left, a few key players (acerbi, mkhi, calhanoglu especially) started to show their age lately, they want to refinance their bond (and that's going to be expensive), and they have a huge debt to handle too. on the other hand, henrique looks like a decent purchase, and some key players (bastoni, martinez, thuram, barella, dumfries, ...) are still in their prime, so they still have the best starting 11. again, it looks more like a crossroad than an immediate downfall to me
btw it's both funny and completely normal at the same time how their 2020-2025 dynasty only resulted in 2 scudetti. juve's 9-year run wasn't normal at all. people have no idea how difficult it is to replicate
