we win 3 games in a row and they want to show who's in charge lol

we have a relatively shit team and it would be shocking if we could win the league. but it would be so, so rewarding to rub interisti noses in it
I'm probably not too familiar with the rules, but why is this a penalty? Sure, we were unlucky that the ball didn't hit him 10cm to the left, because that whould have been a penalty, but from what I see it hit his shoulder.

WTH is even that, we feel so shaky in defence and then u see this.
The whole team in all departments playing awfully and shakily, we have best goals conceded statistics because of the high level of Serie A! But remember we have lost Bermer in the early of season and other CBs keep getting injured and only having 1 or 2 CBs available at certain times.

- - - Updated - - -

1 - The 1st and 4th team in the standing are separated by just 6 points after 27 games in a #SerieA season for the first time in the three points for a win era (since 1994/95):

1 - Inter 58
2 - Napoli 57
3 - Atalanta 55
4 - Juventus 52

I think Napoli are favorites at this point. They have the lightest schedule remaining.

Inter has the most top 10 opponents left but we have the most away games against top 10 opponents left. We've definitely got a chance.

I think we have (easily) the second best team in the league. There’s some players who shouldn’t be here, but some who look A LOT worse than what they actually are.

With a better coach, we’d probably win it this year. I think it’s our best team quality wise since the 20/21 season.

partially agree, some players really underperform. koop especially, even more so in the 2nd half of the season, but also nico, vlahovic and luiz are capable of much more. others like weah, mckennie, locatelli or kalulu perform better than expected

as for the strength of the squad, we completely lack leadership after firing tek and danilo, while inda, or even napoli, milan and roma have more experienced and proven match winners. we also have long absences due to injuries. transfermarkt might tell us that we have the 2nd strongest squad, but when you can't use bremer, our best player for the majority of the season, it shows unfortunately

it's still a better squad than last year's. i expected us to be on the podium comfortably. still, if we could overtake inda, it would be a miracle. they have a much, much stronger squad, it's not even close

Roma? Milan? Leaders? Cmonnnnn.

Even if you say we lack more leaders than them, you can’t say that either of them are better quality wise or more equipped to challenge than us.

Either way, we’ve massively underperformed this season and it’s a damn shame. I really hope we don’t gut the squad again, and just add a few names here and there. Want some continuity in the squad.

Why is Napoli in first place when they got rid of one of the best strikers and wingers? And their current best players are washed up Lukaku and a mctominay ?

If juve signed lukaku and mctominay in summer everyone here would have lost their minds including me at it being terrible transfers . Yet conte turned them into stars.

Coaching matters. The group of players juve has can do well with a good coach

Conte would probably win the league if he coached us this season. Especially against a tired and distracted inter.

Hell, like you alluded to, he’ll probably do it with this average Napoli team. Coaching is massively important. We’ve seen teams full of talented players before absolutely fail (the Belgium NT team of like 2014-2020) because of really poor coaching.

Not for long I promise you.

Anyway what was the quote from alexander the great again?

“An army of sheep led by a lion is better than an army of lions led by a sheep”

Napoli is being led by a lion. Juve is led by a sheep
I think sarri had to be fired. He was a classless bum that no one respected. But the whole handling of it might have set the wrong precedent, as far as player management is concerned, and the impact it had on club culture. I remember him saying our players are uncoachable, and it's been the case ever since.
