God? Seems like medical professionals brought him back.
You got it right from that point of view, but sometimes technology, science and devices/equipment which made by human don't work. I consider this a miracle from God.

allegri had to go. the mistake was not getting conte and i am not saying this just based on current results for both teams
well you said that you liked motta

you also said that you'd have taken xavi ahead of motta and palladino

conte was always gonna work best for a single season, maybe two. but he's a short term project guy. if you need that, fine. i don't need a cunt who already left us then could only count his own scudetti

today's draw is on motta, i still don't get the incredible meltdown. maybe i didn't expect too much, i just thought this team had podium potential. and with all the players available, we'd be on the podium. i also remember what happened when del piero got injured. and that wasn't a banter era juventus.

that's sport. everything is changing, hindsight is the only constant

conte was going to work for a single season maybe two? let's assume this is true

so you are choosing the guy that needs planning for multiple seasons to MAYBE work out. and thats a big BIG maybe based on current results over the guy who is essentially guaranteed to work out over the next 2 seasons, which is what this club needs right now based on things like lower serie a rights and no having a sponsor.

you know what's interesting? you would not agree to this philosophy in any area of your personal/professional life.

in your personal or professional life you will always choose the person who can accomplish your goal or needs in next 1 to two years vs someone who needs multiple years to MAYBE plan a long term thing for you.

Broadly agree that creating a winning team now and then leaving a foundation like last time is definitely better than trying our luck on a young coach.

However, there were question marks over Conte: first with the soured relationship with the fans, second with it being Conte 2.0 after Allegri 2.0 (who was also the "safe choice"), and third his meltdown at Spurs puts doubts on his ability to handle pressure.

Everything he said about Spurs is right 100% but nevertheless very unprofessional and out of control. I dont know if he can handle our fans against him + this shit squad without imploding like he did at Spurs.

conte crossed the red line with the club, he wasn't even considered. it's basically pointless to talk about him as a candidate. but please go on for the rest of the season because that's what you do

Stop trying to be too philosophical now, baldie.

Ironic you talk about Conte because when the first time we hired him, he was a big risk but we were lucky things turned out the way it did. We took a risk and it paid off and taking risks is part and parcel of many successful businesses.

It is difficult to see the same situation playing out right now due to various reasons, mainly economical. We tried the 'safe' option for three long years and it failed miserably. Allegro sunk the club even further from where we were. So we arrived at a position where we had to take some risks and we decided to invest on a young coach with long term goals in mind.

This current iteration of JJ is not setup to be built for instant success. This club needs massive rebuilding on and off the pitch. No Zidane, Klopp or all those big name coaches that you throat would hit the ground running right away with this team. Besides, they are not financially viable either so it defeats the whole purpose of this argument.

This.

Conte on big wages that we can't afford (part of why we held onto Allegri for so long) and with his last gig being a failure and a spectacular implosion under pressure would have been very risky.

He can come back if he proves he hasnt lost it at Napoli and Motta fails

Nah, he may never come back. Dude is a nut case. A ticking time bomb. Forget about him.
