Things looked dire on the wings WITH Chiesa.

Look at all the games and competitions we have this year. No one should've felt good with an injury prone Chiesa, a 19 year old Yildiz, and Timothy Weah as our options.

Major contenders are Inter, Milan, Roma, Juventus and Atalanta IMO. We are enough competent to being serious for scudetti but with this squad we will be fighting for 2th at best in the CL.

My hopes and expectations for this year are similar to last year.

Finishing top 4 and making the KO stage of the Champions League would be a perfectly acceptable season for us.

I have zero expectations of winning the league or making any kind of run in the CL, and that's ok --- we're not there yet.

A lot of how people actually feel about the season will be how we play and what we look like. If it's similar to last year, where it's ugly and boring, fans wont be happy.

Does the pre-knockout stage count? This year it's a different format. The best 8 of the 36 teams who will take part in the CL will qualify automatically for the round of 16, while teams placed 9-24 in the group stage will play in the pre-knockouts.

New season same problem. Seriously baffling how bad coverage of Serie A is. The stadium is full for the Genoa-Inter game but you barely hear the crowd on TV.

Compare this to EPL or even Bundesliga, and stadiums half as full end up sound 10x more electric on TV.
