Probably. Does it have something to do with the ref saying play-on and VAR cant intervene? I dont remember the rules on that.
We've had goals called back for much less
This was just before the shot that is saved and then the goal is scored on the rebound.

Yup, its hard to say it not part of the same play. It also did make defending more complicated for Verona, with a man cancelling the offside trap in own penalty area.

That does look like a foul. Its not 100% clear though, its a shoulder push more than actually hitting him with the arm, and he falls easily imo. It wasnt easy to see on the other camera angles.

However, if FICG wanted to fuck Juve at all cost (as is the claim by some), why are they not ignoring that penalty claim to Verona which literally would take 2 of Inter's points in 9 out of 10 cases?

Inter losing points today would be extremely important for Juve.

Yes, Penalty to Verona would change the result but it still different. Rules are rules, if Bastoni foul Verona player, it should be dissalowed.

Its not like by giving that penalty, its allow the mistake before. Also the penalty can still be failed to scored like this one, the pressure is burdensome for the Verona player take it

Bastoni took the next shot. They should have had a longer review time and consider different angles. It was completely unnecessary for him to elbow Duda.

Yeah but I dont buy the agenda that FIGC is trying to fuck us over with VAR and let Inter win. They would really have used this opportunity to make sure Inter got the 3 points instead of late penalty call and all the added minutes.

Shame on you lot for commenting and jinxing the Inter game. VAR ref gets suspended for a week, takes the brown envelope, normal service resumed. What's evident is that Inter will have their annual slump so we need to win all our games. They'll be focused on CL too.

The same FIGC that fucked us last season.... sure
So why didnt they do it again today instead of giving Verona penalty to take 2 points from Inter? If they decided to fuck Juve by not cancel Inters goal and bringing criticism onto themselves, why then undo it by giving away those 2 stolen points? They are still getting massive criticism now.

The narrative just doesnt make sense.

Because that's a clear penalty and has been given all season... do you not think that the league and refs are being somewhat biased for inter right now? Inter got away with a lot this season, and their fans constantly having to construct narratives and pivot to justify them.

It's crazy, we would have to make a compilation of all the goals denied to Vlahovic, Kean for a millimeter, in this case no worries the VAR even if it has to check for 10 minutes works, but for such obvious faults it is mute.
Monday we will have Rocchi's report to explain to us that there was another power cut from the VAR concerning rats, but life goes on in this shitty league.

They'll come out saying it was a mistake (again lol)
But the same "mistake" will then happen again in the next game. Rinse and repeat.

Inter are OFFICIALLY the Winter Champions of Serie A .

Since 2000, there’s been 7 times where the winter champions did NOT win the Scudetto.

2001/02 • Roma ❌
2002/03 • Milan ❌
2003/04 • Roma ❌
2015/16 • Napoli ❌
2017/18 • Napoli ❌
2020/21 • Milan ❌
2021/22 • Inter ❌
