Best GM in Europe? He's definitely one of the best, but the best might be a bit of a stretch.

Also, it was right to move on from him - what wasn't right was the direction we took after his departure, which coincided with our premature demise.
He is easily one of the best around. The evidence is there, given everywhere he goes he turns teams fortunes around in a positive sense. Inter were a hilarious joke on and off the field for a decade - he joins them, and instantly they win the title, make a CL final and stay regularly in the top 4. All this with smart transfers.

CL final
EL final
serie a title

in 5.5 seasons. in a choker team that has a budget of - negative 800 million. they also turned huge profits on lukaku, hakimi and onana. and will probably make another 300m-400m when they sell lautaro bastoni thuram and barella.

Easily 300-350m on those four.

Lautaro will be 100-120m to Barca, Bastoni will be 70-80m to Prem, Thuram will be 80m to Prem, Barella will be 60-70m to Prem or Spain or PSG.

forgot about di marco and pavard and dumfries. good wingbacks/fullbacks are valuable so there is another 120m+ right there for all three
