For our period of dominance, Allegri’s Milan and Sarri’s Napoli were the only ones I remember that challenged us in any real way. I can’t even remember which seasons involved Rudi

that's what you get when you mess with the rules and with the only team that keeps the shit league somewhat relevant. nice job ceferin, nice job gravina. every other team will suffer long term consequences, but jj will survive this unprecedented incompetence (that applies to both inside and outside of jj) too

How much did Rudi Garcia bother us during his time at Roma?
Every time he complained about us he beat his wife.

Rudi finished 17 pts back in 2nd two seasons in a row iirc.

Roma under Spalletti in 2016-17 finished 2nd with 87 pts, only 4 pts behind us, as close as Sarri came the next season.

Rudi's Roma in 2013/14 finished with 85 pts, which was an excellent result. They'd have probably finished with more points if we didn't kill their desire to live that year with our 102 pts (Roma lost the last three matches of the season, when it was clear that we're winning the scudetto and their 2nd place was secure. If they still stood a chance, I think that they'd have won at least 90 pts that year).
But his Roma did well, it has to be said. They started the season with 10-0-0 and didn't do too bad after the start either, but we were crazy good in Italy.

Roma had a pretty damn good team at that time too.

It makes me laugh when people say this current shitshow of a Serie A is as strong as the versions from back then.
