Tuzzers finally speaking about the state of Italian football, stadia, PR, media rights now in 2022 when Jj is non-competitive

anons pls tell me Where was all this when @Hust and I brought up these same topics in 2018?
Writing was always on the wall. Clubs going bankrupt, clubs held hostage by pleasing the ultras, stadiums crumbling or old and outdated, cities controlling stadium revenue. Nothing about Italian football has been right for some time

Not to mention presidents playing politics rather than smart business

exactly. to put it into perspective, my stepfather just called me to tell me that orbán wants to bring the italian super cup to hungary. i told him i read the news in the italian press. he asked whether i knew what stadium would host the match. i said i suppose the national stadium at budapest. he said i was wrong, orbán wanted the match to be held at felcsút, in the stadium next to his very own family house :baus:

that is the stadium btw: https://www.pfla.hu/index.php/eredm...14_2002/2016-06-11/3471?q=static/pancho_arena

it's a beautiful little stadium with a moderate capacity (3500 seats), not the ideal venue for an italian supercup. but at least it's close to orbán's back yard. :baus:
That thing looks beautiful, though. At least from that picture. 3500 seats is enough for those interested in Serie A, seems about right.

It may have been writing on the wall but NOW is when it’s apparent and a problem lel

We were primary beneficiaries of this broken system the last few years when we were on top with no competition in sight. It is insane that we are still the only big club with a stadium in Italy.

You talkin’ bout some heartbreak?

Maybe a lil Buck Owens or Tammy Wynette will put some sun in your glum bum
Me and Juve are just friends now. We had what we had until Juve threw it all away for some stupid “plan”.

This useless political posturing in sports needs to stop though. The whole point of this is escaping from the garbage of life and superficial differences that would otherwise keep us from socializing. I don't want political or ethical preaching from the steve kerrs or spalettis of the world.
He's not preaching though. He's not saying what should be done and what not. He's just honoring the deceased.
P.S. I get that jumping on a side of a certain debated political issue could be idiotic, but there's no political issue here. There are people who protest for their most basic rights and there are those who answer that with live bullets. It's not hard to choose a side here.

It's not just about choosing side, i despise the mullahs, but i dont want to be reminded of reality of suffering even in what ought to be an escape, i watch football to forget all of the serious shit, to instead take out my rage on mckennie.
