So, an Allegri with a smaller budget? I keed. I get what you mean, and he's definitely not had the success a top tier coach would have enjoyed at a bigger club, but I don't think anyone is disputing that he's worthy of a top bench, barring a few hipster buffoons.

gasperini and his team punched above their weight for years. this is clearly a disappointing season for them, still, some of their previous achievements can only be respected. that squad was rarely top4 quality yet they made it multiple times.
