Today Fiorentina presented a video of their future stadium. At a certain point in the video you can see they used a “Fiorentina - Juventus” graphic with champions league logo.
There are millions of teams and especially for a UCL simulation they could have used any team. No… it’s juventus.
Maybe it’s to thank us for the money to build their stadium (Berna, Chiesa, Vlahovic…)

We would have been on top of the table the last 25 games, 10 games, or 5 games

Second, for the last 15 and 20 games
The bad start are hunting us

All these what if scenarios are the stuff we used to joke about acdna, first in the last couple rounds scudetto, conceded less in month of January scudetto, etc. We had chances to capitalize and didn't and I'm not talking about the 4th. All that needs to be said really no point twisting and formulating stats to better our reality.

We've turned into Napoli/Milan/Inter fans :howler:

Next up is the honesty scudetto for us. People realize Milan is leading with Tomori-Romagnoli and Leao-Giroud-Saelemaekers right? They're comfortably a Europa League squad.

I agree and think looking at "last 25 games" records is meaningless but it cannot be understated that we started the year poorly and some of that can be attributed to Ronaldo's late exit leaving us up in the air in terms of attack. We deserve to be where we are. We started the year awful and earned those Ls but we've definitely turned the corner to a degree.

We're not winning Serie A, nor CL. We might win the Coppa but we already lost the Supercoppa to Inter so I'm not confident. If we shit ourselves and have to scrape past Spezia and all the other relegation teams, we're not going to be favourites for any trophy this year. Like every game, Sampdoria is going to be a struggle and we shouldn't look beyond that game.

That doesn't mean anything, I mean it's actually the opposite. No PE fund will burn their cash, they will run the club prudently as it has been run now. Also, they will probably be more open to selling players for the right valuation, as opposed to ADL. Basically, the club will be financed through its cash-flow, with possibly minor capital injection from the PE upon completion of transaction.

They're in it for the money, not for fun as Saudis are.

I feel like there are two types of American football club owner. Those who want to win and make money and those who want to make money. Like Kroenke v FSG. If want to win ala FSG at Liverpool who run the club with mindset of winning and making money, I think it will be great for the modernization of Serie A. If they just do like that group that bought Roma for a minute then there won’t be much of an impact. Then of course they could end up like the Glazers but that’s unlikely given their portfolio.

I agree. Realistically, Napoli is a decently run club from a sporting perspective, considering their resources. I believe they will continue to operate like that, so not much will change. For example, FSG is running Liverpool very prudently, which I also think will be the case with Napoli, unless the new owners start meddling with the current management team.

What I wanted to say is that the new ownership won't make Napoli rich, not matter the amount of AUM of this new PE fund. They won't be throwing money at the club nor their transfers.
