He had some brilliant moves here. But people forget he made horrible mistakes too, many of them. And there was a reason why many wanted him gone, just like Allegri.

Inzaghi and Marotta being at Inter means that we are possibly in for a painful next couple of years... Allegri should be kept in my opinion, there isn't really a worthwhile alternative. However, the squad needs an overhaul via Marotta esque transfers. Chiellini at 37, young De Ligt and Bonucci just won't cut it for a defensive minded manager. Along with that we need some class midfielders, doesn't have to be MVPP, but Pjanic, Khedira, Matuidi level would be suffice. Locatelli was a good start in that direction, but not a single one of our other midfielders can be a full time starter. Lastly, a reliable striker is needed. Times like this has made me really appreciate Higuain's time here. I personally, and I think many others on here, took for granted how important it was to have a reliable goal-scorer. We need someone like that again, but the only problem is I can't think of a realistic option out there.
