I wonder how Benfica will be able to gift Inter the 7.5m without Sporting/FIFA not catching it, both for sure will be watching closely.

But unless they prove Inter received something from Benfica, I dont think they have a case.

That is actually easy if they put an intermediary club, maybe Pozzo's family club like Watford

Inter sell to Watford, then Watford loan him to Benfica for 2.5m per year with obligation for 5m (total 7.5m)
Then Inter take 1 youngster from Udinese valued around 5 to 7.5million as their payment
No loopholes, everything will seen like normal transfer activity

They just released him on a free so that scenario ain't happening :D And I'm pretty certain that one would end up with Sporting successfully suing Inter.

My guess is there won't be anything happening this summer and Benfica will find a way to repay Inter next summer or the summer after that.
