This Milan team is the luckiest I’ve seen in a long long time. Bang average; but bailed out by penalties in almost every game. If they had a reasonable amount of pens (5-6), they wouldn’t even be in the top half of the table.
Just watched the highlights of Milan Bologna - WTF was that first penalty - The attacker made a foul on the GK and they get a penalty?
The second one was valid though.
I expect Juve and Inter to win. (i even put money on them). While Milan I cant tell. It’s tough after their back to back loses with black and blue. Over 2.5 would be a good bet. On the other hand I do expect Atalanta to beat Lazio again this weekend.
We had a 14 penalties season last year.
Of course, last year was an exception due to the new handball rule and half the league was awarded penalties like crazy. This year it's a little different. No team but Milan has more than 5 at half-season. But Milan's tempo is crazy right now. No matter the handball rule and VAR, Milan are receiving penalties more frequently than anyone else in the history of serie A.
