The amount of people who prematurely ejaculated following int** and Lazio draws...

Int** went from serious scudo challengers to top 4 strugglers overnight.

Too bad we gave them hope.

instead of signing eriksen free for next season, they are throwing away 20 million. surely this move will help them to achieve that el glory they were dreaming of.

typical marotta. he smells money, he grabs it.
Because signing a guy for 20 mil who would have sold for 70-80mil the last couple summers if Spurs were willing to sell, is really bad business. He's the probably the best player they have now, if he performs to his top level, and getting an extra 4 months of him, while fighting for the scudetto with us, is certainly worth an extra 20mil to them.

Meanwhile, our club, with our CL ambitions, is signing no one to help fix our weaknesses.

Typical Marotta throwing away 20 mil on a world class player though. Shameful.

We might sell Can, to some this is an improvement.

You know we might actually lose tonight and they gain on us after their draw?
That draw means we are getting a draw at best tonight. We always keep it interesting.

Did enjoy the typical Conte meltdown at the end. He really is a manchild when it comes to negative results.
Prophets. :sigh:

What I still don't understand is. If he is such a great deal why aren't the top clubs battle it out for him? There are at least a couple teams that can afford him before inda.

Various reasons... but most top teams don't make big January moves like this. It's usually for teams with much bigger issues. Also teams like Barca and us have our wage bills to keep an eye on, and it's hard to offload unwanted players at this time of year and free up salary space. Still there were links to PSG, Barca, and Madrid. Probably had most teams willing to wait to sign him for free in the summer. Inter, with it's lower wage bill, and bigger immediate need, decided to splash on him now.

Why would top teams battle for a player that agrees to join inda? Shows he's not really the sharpest tool in the shed.

Why he didn't wait for the summer then? Inter might have a lower wage bill but they also have much less revenue. Not to mention they pay 5mln net to Candreva lol.

disciplinary actions after the latest round:
http://www.legaseriea.it/uploads/de...municati_m/8254/files/allegati/8342/cu161.pdf

lautaro martinez got suspended for only 2 games. conte got away with his childish press boycott after the match. ranocchia pulled a totti when he spat towards the 4th official; he also got away with that. inda got a fine of 20k € when they surrounded then intimidated the refs.

What Marotta is doing this winter would've been great even as a summer mercato.

If he pulls off the rest of the rumored moves, that's the best winter mercato ever. Will have managed to improve virtually every position in the middle of the season.

This - improving team at this level - is too easy for him.
