i dont see it that way. Ibra strikes me as someone who loves the praise he gets from playing football. he loves to test himself against others to be the best and to be respected as such. its why he is still playing so late into his career when he doesnt need the money. At Milan he will get to be top dog again in a small pond and in a less physically demanding league then certain others. due to the slower pace of serie A he can still hack it through his immense skill.

Milan on the other hand get a player of actual quality as well as a chronic winner with real swagger. something they sorely lack.

i dont watch MLS so i dont know Zlatans condition but unless he has collapsed completely i think its a good move. he was never a player who ran or tracked back anyway.

They did so since 2014 with Di Maria, Fred, Matic, Lukaku, Maguire, Pogba and so on, not really like they won anything after spending billions so don't see that argument right now. They'll get back at some point but won't happen before they get a clear strategy.
