"I have to be honest and admit that I could have been mentioned in the same breath as GordoDeCentral if I had been 100 percent committed. I know that."

“But I did not want to do that and I have no regrets about it. It’s not that I didn’t have it in me, but I simply didn’t want to do it."

“I enjoyed my Mod career as it was. I won every trophy I could win on tuz, so I have no regrets at all."

Smart move by Barella.. If he had come to Juventus he wouldn't have played a minute yet.

Just another day in Italy:

Napoli wants to fine players 25% of their salaries.
Conte gives Inter players advice on how to have sex.
Roma is about to be sold again.
Milan is loaning Leao to make room for Ibra.
Hellas fans allowed back in stadium after being racist because who knows why.
Balotelli has mental breakdown in training.

At least both Cagliari and Atalanta are likable clubs I can root for.
Yes a very likable club that cagliari.

A club that openly defends, almost celebrates racism.

But we should recruit their director to be Paratici's right hand man.

He'll sell up and start again with Bari. His mentality can only take a club so far, you can't have an elite level club with that guy in charge.
How he is handling the club right now seems like self sabotage. Like he is now looking for an out. Because soon he has to choose between Bari and Napoli due to ownership rules in same division (if they promote which is likely). And some journalist saying it's looking increasingly likely that he wants to pick Bari.

Which is bizarre, Napoli is basically a semi top club right now, he made them that, but apparently dislikes the city council and the destructive fan culture (he is big part of that negative too).

https://www.football-italia.net/127813/adl-‘napoli-could-play-bari’

this was the first time i noticed him openly talking about san paolo issues. when he raged about the state of the stadium at the beginning of this season, it was a sign of a rupture with the city. i'd be still surprised if he dumped napoli. my guess is that he's trying to put some pressure on the city. football is life in napoli, both the city and the fans would lose a lot if de laurentiis were to sell the club and move his money and efforts to bari. i despise his antics, but i have to give him that he's been running the club quite well so far.

Bari is the same kind of shitshow with their fans and crap he'll get from the council. He probably just wants to play Messiah and build them up into potentially a EL-level team or more and then you'll see the cycle repeat, or he'll most likely call it a day by then and pass to EDL. It's like with Zampa, you can only go so far with a madman before it all falls apart. 2017-18 really was their golden chance at the scudetto, they might struggle again for a few years.

I can actually see something of a revolution there this summer with Koulibaly finally being sold and many senior players, they will be able to put a very talented, young and hungry squad together selling players like KK, Callejon, Mertens, Allan....and maybe even Insigne. He

Whatever his plans re napoli-bari might be (guessing his son will be puppet chair), think he was just being reactionary as always.

And after players ignored his knee jerk orders, he had no good play (cower to them, fine them, or a dialogue & combo of both), but chose the worst option with heavy fines in typical adl fashion.

Has Napoli been profitable for him?
