Born in Parma on 20 October 1965, Stefano Pioli started his coaching career in 1999. In 2006 he made his Serie A debut with Parma and subsequent professional experiences with other Serie A companies such as Chievo Verona, Palermo, Bologna, Lazio and Inter, before training Fiorentina since 2017. It's more the fact that milan fans have endured a series of false hopes charged with seemingly incapable managers. Pioli is an average manager at best, even in the short term ranieri would have been a better pick, though I am surprised Marcelino wasn't even considered. Pioli has absolutely nothing to lose in all this.
