This. We have a tough schedule coming up, it'll be closer at the end than it is now. If we are spared of injuries to key players, we've got this, but a few players out and we are bound to fight tooth and nail for every point.

No win in the last 2. The 3 wins before that were against Lecce (who were the better team until their sending off and on a terrible run), Torino (on a terrible run), Genoa (on a terrible run). Before that we lost to Napoli (albeit a very fortunate draw over 90 mins) and couldn't beat Milan who had 10 men for the majority of the game.

The other games in your run of 9 (which you excluded the Coppa and CL) were Inter (our best performance of the season), SPAL (on a terrible run) and Brescia at home (on a terrible run). Before that was a draw with Milan (which was undeserved), a loss to Verona (which we deserved to lose). We also lost to Lyon deservedly.

So really in the last 14 it is 7 wins with some ropey performances where we scraped the wins. Not exactly the form of champions.
