Milan informed of UEFA sentence?
By Football Italia staff

It’s reported Milan have been told that their Financial Fair Play punishment will be a €30m fine and a one-year ban from European competition.

An official judgement from UEFA is expected this afternoon, but Premium Sport believes the Rossoneri have already been informed of their punishment.

They will be denied entry to this season’s Europa League, as well as being fined €30m for breaching FFP laws.

In addition, the outlet confirms that talks with Rocco Commisso for a takeover have collapsed, as current owner Yonghong Li has found the €32m to repay Elliott Management for this month's capital increase and hold on to the club.

That may not be good news for the club though, as part of the reason such a heavy FFP sanction is likely to be imposed is doubts over Li.

Premium Sport believes Commisso would have appeared at the Court of Arbitration for Sport for the appeal, but without a new owner that is less likely to be successful.

What a lucky day for him, just strolling through the park and finding €32M dropped on the floor. We've all been there though, right?

So now does Fiorentina take their place?

You can tell from his quotes and his Instagram that he did not want to leave Roma under any circumstance.

What better way to help your squad than by acquiring a player who doesn't want to be there. What could possibly go wrong.
Agreed. This isn't going to be a success. Especially because he's 30, he likes to party and he's already been talking about retirement. My guess? He knew Roma wanted to sell him and he thought to himself he might as well take the four years of good pay.

And if the numbers don't lie, they are not getting the Radja of 2-3 years ago either. Maybe he should have never said that he would never join us.

The Adjudicatory Chamber of the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB), chaired by José Narciso da Cunha Rodrigues, has taken a decision in the case of the club AC Milan that had been referred to it by the CFCB Chief Investigator for the breach of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations, in particular the break-even requirement.

The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next two (2) seasons (i.e. one competition in 2018/19 or 2019/20, subject to qualification).

This decision may be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, in accordance with Article 34(2) of the Procedural rules governing the UEFA Club Financial Control Body, as well as Articles 62 and 63 of the UEFA Statutes.

The full reasoned decision will be published on UEFA.com in due course.

So it's only for this season, right? since they qualified for EL and the ruling says "one competition in 2018/19 or 2019/20, subject to qualification"
