I'm confident we're catching Napoli during the next month, they should drop points at 1 or 2 matches of Lazio home, Cagliari away and Roma home. Who watches italian football? The domestic market is weak: low purchasing power among italian comsumers means there's a low demand for tv ads etc., which in turn leaves a low demand for broadcasting Serie A. Furthermore besides the odd hipster, connoisseur, or Italian diaspora, who watches italian football outside Italy? So there's a weak market abroad as well.

Delusional FIGC still lives in the glory days of the 90, yet to realise that Italy have fallen so far behind, we are talking at least a decade to catch up.

as much as we like our kinda 'clean' league, it seems that without asian/us tycoons investments we wont have good stadiums, superstars and infrastructure/marketing to make italy attractive abroad...
