Robinho found guilty of 2013 rape
By Football Italia staff

Former Milan and Manchester City striker Robinho has been found guilty of rape in a Milanese disco in 2013 and given a nine-year sentence.

The 33-year-old Brazilian was playing for the Rossoneri at the time of the incident, which took place on January 22, 2013.

The Tribunal in Milan this evening found Robinho and five other men guilty of the gang-rape of a 22-year-old Albanian woman.

Although this is a guilty verdict and a nine-year prison sentence awarded, the Italian justice system includes several levels of appeal.

Because of that, the verdict is effectively put on hold until the appeals process is completed and no sentence will be enforced until then.

Robinho is currently in Brazil playing for Atletico Mineiro.

Wow what a cunt

Napoli fans: 'Move Gomorrah!’
By Football Italia staff

Napoli fans have urged Sky to reschedule next week's episode of Gomorrah - as it clashes with the Juventus game.

The acclaimed mafia series, which is set in Naples, is in its third series and is broadcast on Friday nights.

However, next week sees the Partenopei face Juve at 19.45 UK time in what could be a crucial match in the Scudetto race.

As a result, Napoli fans have taken to Facebook and Twitter, and asked Sky Atlantic to move Gomorrah to Thursday, so that it won’t clash with the game.

Unfortunately the broadcaster replied “it’s impossible to move Gomorrah to another day, due to scheduling problems”.
