Maybe just maybe Allegri has actually done a great job of rotating our CBs this year, giving lots of minutes to all 4.

Chiellini - 2360 minutes
Benatia - 1766 minutes
Barzagli - 1535 minutes
Rugani - 1325 minutes

Would ya look at that? All of them have played a significant number of minutes.
Maybe they should have the same exact minutes. :boh:

Ideally you would want Rugani to have more minutes than barzagli but allegri likes experience in the champions league

Berna barely even played lol. He played as much as Sturaro.

Bentancur?
Bernas playing time is steadily increasing, he barely played at the beginning, now its a different story. Bentancur? hes 19 and coming from the Argentinian league, you expect him to get regular playing time right away?

Do we still own Romagna? is it one of those where "don't" have a clause but we actually do?

He's had some good games for Cagliari, he plays a lot. Another season or two and we can see how good he is.

Allegri played Bobby P. 3000 minutes here in 14-15 as a 23 year old. Was looking like a future star if not for turning into a glass man the next season.
he went from Almost man at the beginning of the season to one of the best players against BVB and key rotation option for the rest of the season, then the injury destroyed him for good after a good start into the 15/16 season. shame

Bentancur has already played 721 minutes, as a 20 year old in his first season of European top flight football. The expectations some people here have. :lol2:

There has been so much rotation this year its hard to complain. The CB rotation has been spot on. Chiellini is our rock so he plays the most. When Benatia sucked Rugani was our starter, when he earned his time he played again. Barzagli has the least time as it makes sense in his age.

Bernadeschi has also been fighting for playing time with Costa and Cuadrado on the right so of course he was going to be a little slow to get fully integrated and have to fight hard for a starting place.

Why you gotta lie to make a point?

Berna has featured in 26 matches, played 988 minutes. And that's in a position we have huge competition for.

Sturaro has featured in 14 matches, played 766 minutes. And most of those were as a RB when De Sciglio was injured early in the season, because LIchtsteiner was left off CL list.

Not at all comparable.
