I really don't remember seeing him for Palermo, didn't follow them back then, but that 15 goal season stats wise doesn't seem too impressive, both Pazzini and Borriello were way more consistent scorers than Amauri at his best. From what I've seen from that trio I'd say the opposite is true, Amauri most of the time was totally useless on the field while Pazzini and Borriello could comfortably score close to 20 goals per season if fit and in line with the coach.
He was great in Palermo, modern age striker, neither Boriello or Pazzini ever displayed anything like that.

modern age as in more technically gifted than oldschool CFs? sure that's nice, but I prefer my CF's having the killer instinct and that's where Amauri loses big time, he had no understanding on how to position himself whatsoever

Don't agree with this one. He had a lot of chances here, sometimes even he created them, thats your positioning, but he just was not fucking able to put a ball in the net, like som kind of curse. Something like very poor mans Benzema, does everything as in the book, but just doesn't score. Karim is obvisouly much-much better, but current RM squad is almost in every position much-much better than Amauri-Jaq dynamic duo Juventus.

let me get this straight, you're an Amauri fanboy and can't stand Licht? :D That's a crazy combination, I'm pretty much the opposite, but whatever works for you :D

I think Amauri had some great potential in him eventhough he peaked late. Or 'peaked'. But his season at Palermo was quite amazing imo.

Pazzini is just another useless forward that Italy produced. Boriello and his other buddies are just totally useless players on the field.
Pazzo - Cassano

Was pretty good for Samp for quite some time though.

Fanboyism has nothing to do with it man. Amauri was a one-year wonder, turned in to a bust, but for a year in Palermo he was really great. Who knows, why he became a bust, but he was bad in Juve.
Licht was great for us, bad news for opponent and bitch on a field. Now he is bad for us, an opportunity for opponent and stil a bitch on a field. He should hang them up.

Yes.

And no, you make it sound like Amauri was God. I said he was a good season at Palermo. He added something, unlike Pazzini, who was sitting in the box and was useless.
Of course Amauri had a good season at Palermo. He also had a good first season with us.

But saying Amauri had good seasons, while Pazzini was always useless is just flat out lying.

You may like one player better than the other, but that still doesn't change the facts.

Oh, no, I actually think Amauri had one full season when he played good.

When it comes to Pazzini, I just hate him, I think he's a horrible player. He might have scored goals next to Cassano who breast fed him, but imo he contributes nothing to the team.

Both are horrible players but at least Amauri looked good on his peak. Pazzini on his peak looked like a tree that scores goals.
