Why is it hard for people to give credit? Drop the stubborness. Salah is having an amazing season, end of, its ridicolous how much he has carried them, most of the goals Dzeko score is because of Salah too.

I disagree with this. Our team plays far less attacking football than Roma. Our tactics are more rigid, our players are expected to contribute in all aspects. Roma plays a far more open, attacking game, with more freedom given to players with regards to attack and less responsibility to track back and help out defensively. Hence the reason why they concede a ridiculous number of goals with teams that can counter quickly on the wings, because guys like Salah and El Sharaawy rarely track back, rarely contribute defensively and leave an enormous amount of space behind them for other teams to exploit. For example Chievo's second goal today was entirely because Salah left huge space behind him on that wing and Chievo player had endless time to wait for his teammates to get set up in the box and fire a pinpoint unchallenged cross in. That never happens with Mandzu and Cuadrado here at Juve.
I don't believe his offensive output is enough to offset his incredibly poor defensive output, and the pressure it puts Roma's fullbacks and defenders under. We're not talking 30-40 goals and 15-20 assists here.
Salah is a very good player, having a very good season. But not at all world class. If he adds some ability defensively to help out his fullback while keeping those numbers yes, if he doesn't he needs to add to his production in my opinion.

Yes. It seems that you have to tactically and offensively give away something if you want to be a balanced side like juve. And that is attacking flair and all out offensiveness.
In juve attackers need to sacrifice a lot and that takes a toll offensively over the course of the game. Also we play very composed and we do not take innecesary risks just to play cute and score gazillions against inferior opossition.
The problem with romas and napolis offensive gameplay, is when they face teams that can score more than them, they simply get stomped because they cant implement counter tactics or simply make a group defensive effor to contain teams like barcelona and real madrid.
They can continue their happy offensive football in italy all they want, but even in italy they will continue losing precious points from time to time because you cant always outscore ur rival and fuck ups happens.
If you want to be a team as balanced as juve, it seems you must sacrifice offensive output. But in the end is worth
depends on what you consider word class wingers. If its the Robbens, Bales and Neymars then obviously he isnt.
But if you consider Willian, Mane, Pedro, Mertens, Cuadrado, Di Maria, Lucas and so on as world class then he definitely is too and is better than most players in that group.
If he goes to the EPL, I dont think anyone aside from Sanchez and Hazard are clearly better than him, and the latter of these two doesnt contribute defensively at all either.
I am not sure anyone bar our current wingers and maybe Sanchez do a lot of tracking back or contribute defensively.

Salah has 19g12a in 42 games for a team that has scored 121 goals this season across all competitions, while playing as a striker next to Dzeko for most of the time. compare that to Dzeko who has 38g7a in 50 games, and tell me those numbers are impressive.
and im not even saying Salah is a bad player, hes very good but definitely not worldclass. hes a very effective player on the counter and when he has lots of space, who benefited a lot from Romas all attacking mentality and playing next to Dzeko, whos great at creating space for his team and receiving passes around the box and then giving through balls from about 20 meters to his running teammates. such environment is perfect for Salah, and hes using it to a maximum. Cuadrado (and Mandzukic too this season, when we play 4231) play as wide midfielders basically, they drop deep when we dont have the ball and rarely get themselves into scoring opportunities because the middle is already stacked with Dybala, Higuain and Khedira. Salah couldnt play the game those two are playing for us, hed be used as a Dybala backup and obviously wouldnt play much. id rather have both Cuadra and Mandzu than him
