He's already had two very good seasons with Torino, and scored a decent amount of goals for Palermo even though he didn't always plays in his favoured position. Clearly not another Immobile or Zaza.
One of the worst transfers ever. Even at Euros I was looking at that guy and wondering what the hell do people see in him. He's incredibly average. And I won't forget my brothers comment when he said 'this is a perfect player for Inter and their transfer policy' just because he offers nothing and costs a lot for some reason. Next day he was all over the Italian press being linked with Inter, and in the end they even bought him. Terrible way to invest in such a limited player, but yeah, it was an Inter way of doing things.
Yeah I'm bewildered by their comments, he is one of the main reasons they doing well, so kinda odd to say garbage. Yeah his overall skillset aint anything out of the norm, but he has been performing quite good for them.
Joao Mario is doing well for Inter, one of their most important players at the moment. At first I thought he will flop, but now he becomes every game better. Don't forget (most) Benfica fans called him best player in the squad. All-round, versatile player are very nice to have for every coach.
