Milan is focussing on young Italian players who give a shit and are passionate about representing their club... Makes it more likely they will outperform their actual talent level. Also allows the club and coach to instil a certain mentality.

Inter seems to have a bunch of players with terrible mentality who just don't give a shit about representing Inter. And they massively underperform the skill level due to this mentality and a lack of cohesion.
