Exor: investment of 400 mln in London for Elkann (MF)

DowJones

MILAN (AFX) - John Elkann, Chairman of Exor, a billion strong liquidity 'in cash, could mark the start of the year with a great investment property in London, around one of British sport by definition : cricket.

On the other hand, reads an article by MF, 2011 should be the year in which the financial Agnelli will collect 'the fruits of seeds sown on the ground in recent months, including its subscription of 55% of the infant vehicle Almacantar real estate, in which Exor has invested 100 million €.

Almacantar, which, as revealed by MF-Milano Finanza last November was among the three candidates for the race, did not enter into exclusive negotiations with the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) to develop the residential part of the project to regenerate the whole area of the club, two centuries ago who first set the global rules of the typical Anglo-Saxon sport. This is an estimated total of £ 400 million including the cost of land, according to British magazine Property Week, which took over the news. Almacantar should be collected for 100 mln pounds to 3.5 acres (14,000 square meters) of land from the MCC, on the east side of the field, in St John's Wood in northwest London. Then the area should be developed in a residential area about 100 thousand square meters, which should bring the value of the entire operation to around 750 million pounds (estimated by the British magazine). red / lab

Who knows. Maybe these sudden chinese investments in Milan and Inter will entice Exor to add some additional capital to Juve.

These milanese clubs will turn worst then they were few years ago. No serious star player will want to go there so millions will be thrown at mediocre players.

Foza foza foza China.

Milan and Inter are still better then were we were years ago, because they dont have that "demoted cheaters" brandmark.

However, we then got the best management in the history of football with Agnelli, Nedved, Marotta, Paratici

No they aren't currently but traditionally The point is they were big clubs especialy when Juventus was completely decimated and aging, relegated to Serie BIf history has proven anything, that is almost a proven fact now they are rely on free transfer. i have no idea what Milan will play like with their new players, and new coach.

Have you read story of every single management in history of football and came up with this?

Same management ended up with Hernanes after jerking around for four months instead of getting a proper attacking midfielder which was the single most important objective. Accepted a buy back clause in Morata deal which essentially mean they accepted that Juventus are not a top club. Made a ''verbal agreement'' with Sassuolo in a multi million deal as if they are buying potatoes from grocery which is quite unusual(to say the least) in this level.

Let's make it best management in current Serie A, they are not even best management in history of Juventus, let alone in history of football.

Yes Turk, Hernanes who improved to a decent level and held his own against Bayern, in Bayern, and Morata who made us 10 mil and was a crucial factor going to a CL final and whom we couldnt have had without a recompra. That outweighs the insane progress we have made in the most difficult era of italian football to do so, and the gigantic turnover we performed.

And you even wonder why everyone insults you and nobody takes you serious anymore ?
