Classless Spalletti your world is grey ::lol3::

Earned the highest ever Roma victory at the San Siro in history but didn't sub in a 40 yo, your world so grey fam :baus:

I don't necessarily agree with Palmeri here (although one can see why you'd want to give Totti a final farewell to one of Italy's most iconic stadiums), but Spalletti has been incredibly poor with Totti in general. I know Totti must be difficult for any manager. I mean, the guy has his own office/museum at Trigoria, that must have some effect on player-manager-dynamics. But there were lots of times when Spalletti could have given the people what the people wanted and he refused to do so, simply because he wanted to belittle Totti.

It's silly and it will be held against him imo.

i guess he only plays his best players, and totti is not one of roma's best 14-15 players right now.

anyway, spalletti would be right even if he tried to dishonor or belittle totti as no player can be bigger than any club. totti should have hung up his boots years ago, but he's still acting like the king of rome instead.

I agree with Seven, Roma 4:1 Milan, Pescara 1:4 Roma, Bologna 0:3 Roma, in these games when they were decided Totti played a combined 5 minutes. He's hands down biggest Roma legend of all times and people want to properly wave goodbye to him (not just Roma fans, but also fans in other stadiums), yet Spalletti makes some random "tactical" substitutions in games that are already over. I've seen many times managers substituting MVP of the game just so he can get standing ovation from the crowd, surely Totti spending his last weeks as AS Roma player is something to waste a substitution on.
