One goal vs Napoli he ran forward in counter and scored like a striker. But rest must be set pieces yeah.

it's a nice bonus to have, but it doesn't matter much if the guy is not good enough to start in defense. Benatia is probably our biggest aerial threat in opponents box, but he doesn't start much anyways

with 8 games left to play, +6 over Roma worries me a bit, so I looked at what is left for us in Serie A

Chievo home (packed between Napoli away and Barca home)
Pescara away (between Barca matches)
Genoa home
Atalanta away
Torino home (this is between 2 CL semi-finals, in case we have to play those)
Roma away
Crotone home
Bologna away

even with our fatigued and thin front line we should take 6 points against Chievo (last weekend donated 3 points to Crotone :D) and Pescara, but against Genoa, Atalanta, Torino I'm almost certain we'll drop some points, if Roma collect their points they probably will get a chance to level the playing field 2 rounds before Serie A ends. Luckily for us Roma game doesn't collide with neither CL semi-finals or Coppa final, so we'll just have to go to Olimpico and crush their dreams. we won against them 1:0 in Turin in December, anyone knows what happens if we're level on points and lose the game in Olimpico 1:2? I know that Serie A looks at head to head matches and goal difference in these cases, but is there an away goal rule?

Roma have basically one game a week left, some tough fixtures on paper, but many of those teams will have nothing left to play for:

Bologna away
Atalanta home
Pescara away
Lazio home
AC Milan away
Juventus home
Chievo away
Genoa home

fingers crossed they fuck it up and do 3 losses in a row

Roma won't win their remaining 8 games either, they'll probably drop at least 4 points as well.

So we need to get 15 points out of our remaining 8 games and we're set.

89 points almost certainly would bring us the title, but I don't like that there is a Roma-Juventus game left on week 36, that gives them a lot of hope and motivation, I bet they already see our +6 as +3 in their heads. combined with their failures in other competitions which has freed up their calendar, I have to say I am worried a bit that we'll see the Scudetto race open up again

We have to, and will, win our remaining home games, so that's 12 points in the bag. We'll beat Pescara away, and draw to Atalanta, which should render the Roma game meaningless by the time it comes around.

honestly I wouldn't bet on us winning both Genoa and Torino home games
one can argue that a derby is always a derby, but did you watch any genoa games recently, or at least check their current record? since they beat us, they were the 2nd worst team of the whole league, on par with palermo, and they only won 1 single match, against completely hopeless empoli.

We will win both games with minimal effort.
this, most probably

Torino is a tough team, last time we faced them it took us 82 minutes to take the lead. And I don't think I have to remind you our Genoa game last year? It's one of those very rare times when you can say that Juve conceded only 3 goals in the first half, because it really could've been more.

I watched Genoa-Sampdoria recently, they were the worst team out of 2, but I wouldn't say they were very bad. I don't think their physical type of football is the best fit for us considering we play Barcelona in Spain 4 days before.

You mean same Genoa that lost 5 - 0 vs Pescara and Atalanta just this week?

honestly I wouldn't bet on us winning both Genoa and Torino home games
We have won the league man, we are just waiting for final ceremony.
