Yeah that as well. I also think that Del Piero was fading out of the match, so it was a good idea to rest him for Wednesday instead of risking him against the Roman animals.

it was an excellent substitution in any point of view, it was clear that Roma were to attack and play faster and Alex was starting to get slower. Mancini joining the wolves needed backup in the middle or in the defence and Alex taking a rest for the midweek game.

i would have said that he risked too much on our terrific defence,

It wasnt a good substitution Jeeks,,,,he should have brought in Trez at that point. There was way too much time left . It was only the begining of the second half

So everyone who was pissed at Craps tactics against Parma and Cagliari are all of the sudden happy with Craps moves today, ONLY because Roma didnt score ??!!

We had a horseshoe up our asses today, but wont be so lucky come Wednesday..............................

Vin, I was one of those who were pissed by those subs in the other games, but this was different. It had too many reasons. A backup for the midfield was needed a lot. True we got lucky in the end, but we also missed lots of counterattacks and we could have scored more
