The Roma players are raping us instead of playing football, they have trained in street battles for the past week.....

But we will show them who is better MWAHAHAHAHA
This is called street soccer, where ppl play in a small area and ram the ball hard, with the prescence of dirty fouls

if i was dp i would just laugh, that pk was amazing! i was really worried he would miss it after all that fighting with the ref
I felt the same too. But he stepped up, and boom. 2-1.
That was QUITE the display by Roma players. I was worried they might overturn it. Montella was like begging for his life it looked like.

We got lucky, but I still think we can and need to get 1 more goal at least.

On Cassanos goal, sure 2 players are in an offside position, but the ref made a good call, since Cassano was not, and was still able to make the bursting run through and beat Buffon. Lucky bastard.

2nd half will be ours. Capello will pump them up, or IS pumping them back up now.

and that WAS a penalty anyways

oh add to the prick list - cassano, cufre

and i like how thuram is so peaceful and breaks up all the fights :D
Cassano isn't that bad IMO. I think it would be a 3 - 1, the same score as the Rome derby.

You know what the saddest thing is?
That Ajax want's to recall they're stadium...
Not the ArenA but Rinus Michels Stadium...
That's actualy typical Dutch style, and when Van Basten dies they gon' call it Van Basten Stadium its just sad
Yes, that is Nederland. When van Gogh was alive, he was the worst person on earth and now he is the king of freedom

What a first half!

When the game has actually been allowed to flow, Juve have looked good, some quality passing and interplay in the midfield (apart from Blasi:fero:). They have outclassed the Roma midfield I think.

DP has been excellent, in the first 5 minutes he did 2 sweet bits of skill which had me up out of my seat. Great penalty also.

Roma really tried to intimidate the linesman when Juve got the penalty, it probably was just out of the area but who gives a fvck. Juve deserve to be in the lead, and Cuffre needs a good kicking!

Zebina and Camo have been battered and bruised the entire game so far, Dacourt should have been red carded for a tackle on Blasi, Roma seem to have gone out there for war rather than to play - just shows their mentality.

Juve have gone out to play and for a win, Roma are more interested in personal vendettas and trying to wind the officials up. No doubt the penalty will be in all the papers tomorrow - Roma will claim the ref has favoured Juve, but Juve deserve to be in front.

    ..

Juve's performace was really normal. Nedved's absence is still felt. So far, the best player on the pitch was Camoranesi imo, Thuram and Cann follow next. Cassano's goal was totally because of Blasi's mis-pass. The penalty should have been a free-kick on the line. Zalayeta have been weak, as he has no clue what to do when the ball is at his feet. I think it'd be best if Cap takes Zala out for Olivera, But the 4-3-3 to still be the formation.

Absolutely chaotic first half of play, totally dominated by fouls and controversy. Our players have pretty much stayed out of trouble, except for Zebina who was booked after the Totti kung-fu kick. Totti, Cassano, and Cufre look one bad tackle or nonsense move away from being sent off. Totti and Cassano have been biatching to the referee more than focusing on the match itself. I expect the second half will reach the boiling point and I doubt the match will end with 22 players on the pitch. I suspect all hell will break loose.

Our players have coped well through all of this, however Blasi is at fault for Cassano's goal. Blasi's touch is absolutely horrendous, and he gave the ball away to Totti for the latter to send through to Cassano.

Camoranesi, Zlatan, Zalayeta, and Del Piero have all looked good and involved, considering that half the match was stopped due to fouls. Cannavaro finished the goal off nicely with his head to pick up his first goal at Juve.

Zalayeta was taken down OUTSIDE of the box but we still got a penalty. I know that Romanisti will biatch till no end after this match, but it was a tough call for the ref because he was behind a few players. Del Piero stepped up and blasted the ball into the net, and this is something I love to see. Del Piero also looks confident out there, pushing Roma players aside focusing on playing. Well done Alex.

Second half is going to good. Forza Juve.

your right he wasnt i just think hes a little ***** so i thought id add him to the list anyways :D but arguing with the ref got them no where, if anything its stupid thingsl ike that that make him more reluctant to give them any calls later i nthe game. another stupid thing was totti the geniuos deciding to kick the ball at the ref :D this could get very violent and hopefully result in some roma red cards  lets just suit our players up with armour
