Players are playing well except for Zebina and Balzaretti.
Balzaretti till now is not having a good game.
Man of the first half is Del Piero, very good dribbles and skills and passing. He is playing more of a playmaker than a forward. He's been knocked down quite a number of times with harsh challenges. FORZA ALE.
Trezeguet finally scored after a long wait in the serie A. its funny you know, the last goal he scored was an Alex pass..
Juventus are trying to win this with least energy. I hope we score a second goal early after the break so we can control the match and slow the rythm without worries.

thats so stupid.. its not up to vieria and zlatan, its up to CAPELLO! if he says play fast and no LONG balls then they will do that...

if it was up to the players, how come vieria could play fast football while playing for arsenal ?? same goes for zlatan!!
zlatan never played for arsenal :p ;)

There's nothing wrong with attacking in a low tempo. The problem lies in our midfield, which lacks creativity and passing skills. In 2003 Nedved was able to compensate for that with his insane amount of running, but time has taken his toll on him.

Zebina scares the sh1t out of me defensively. I can't see it, we'll get booted out or lose the CL final because of one of his blunders. :(

Even if DP is fit that fool Capello will probably start Ibrahimovic.
he'd better not. Del Piero is in good shape now. I like zlatan and i remeber all the good things he has done the previous season but now its only a shadow of him.

We seem to play faster indeed,
we have a game plan,
there were some personal mistakes but the teams play was good,
the coverage was sufficient too,
Livorno dont seem able to force us to give us the best out of our quality,
we had the lead, we were calm, we dictated the games rythm, without any special effort,
now lets see the second half

You're absolutely right. This is another reason why I hate Capello so much. Our players are capable of playing good, high tempo, attacking football but the fool has us playing defensive, conservative shit all the damn time.

anyway, mate i agree that its annoying to see our team play with long balls, but as i said, its all up to capello how we play (tactic)...
The players have to play long ball if nobody has enough free space to receive the ball.

I dont think it's just Vieira's fault, after all he did play at Arsenal, so if anything he should be more used to the fast pace.
I meant that I agreed with edpiero about us being too slow and predictable, not that it's down to Vieira and Zlatan. It's Capello's fault.
