There is a good point here,
number one priority was not to loose the game,
after Gattuso's red card, Milan had no midfield anymore,
but they were still very dangerous in their attack,
we all know how deadly and efficient they can be,
we did tried some counterattacks
and we normally sould take the total control of the game and ATLEAST not allow Milan to make any organized attacks,
i m not sure if they had the time possesion but there were moments they DID have the upperhand and threatened us, we sould atleast defend right and not let this happen,
maybe third man in the attack would be risky,
but we sould press them harder in the midfield and keep that extra man in the defence to secure it if necesary wasnt...
Actually, sitting back against a ten-man Milan side makes no sense at all. That's what they would want you to do in pretty much any given situation.

we just prooved we didnt care to win:smoke:
Ugh. What a terrible thought that is.

No man, it wasn't embarassing, Milan got only two shots on target, not that we had more but we didn't want to. It was an effortless draw. Juventus simply refused to let Milan play.
In my opinion it was embrassing. We were toothless in our own home and didn't seem like we wanted to win. Complacency is not my type of football.

I have to disagree with you here, there was absolutely no need. Had we attacked it would have been nice, but there was no need. Milan were stil dangerous and they had a couple of attacks (lame ones) but had we pushed for a goal we would have given Kaka and Sheva what they craved for the whole evening, space.
    same thoughts here!

We could've managed to win this. Too bad our stratigies was towards a draw.
Well, atleast we saw some skills and dribbling by Del Piero. I liked the one V Nesta the most.

You have to praise Buffon, Emerson, and a totally abused Nedved for their performances tonight. Nedved took so much crap it was disgusting and those imbecilic Milan fans who always talk rubbish about Pavel should take a look at their own squad and see the dirty little rat Gattuso trying to kill people and a diver of their own Inzaghi who is just as much of a rat.

Exactly, but Nedved only showed class with keeping his nerves the way wthey were.

Inzaghi only fell in front of players tonight, he did nothing more.

We did what this team does best: 1% more than what we need to win.

That style has worked quite well with only 1 loss in Serie A this year.

It can be nerve racking--but, hey, it's the final result that counts.

Put another way: Juventus players/fans (well, most of them :D) went home happy.

Milan and fans did not :)

Yeh, I am happy to see Gigi reassuring me that he is back as he were before that damned injury. Forza Gigi.
Nedved played a wonderful match as well.
    BUT
    MOM has to be Emerson.

Note: Vieira :( continues to disappoint.
