Call it sitting on the ball. Milan would (or at least should) do the same if the tables were reversed.

And I was plenty entertained:D
Thats because you are a Juve fan and the word entertainment..attack and World Class (Europe) is not in your vocabulary ....
What may work in Italy.. (bad calls) does not work in Europe hence the pathetic record (2 cl titles)

some Milan fans comments on goal.com:

# Gregorio, Budapest, Hungary 12/03/2006 23:11 Cheating....again......and.....again. Helping Juve with wrong decisions....why???? It was a clean PENALTY! Not Messi, Nedved is THE ACTOR!!!! I have to agry with Inter fans. Gattuso didn't even touch him!!! And Viera's faults without card....NO COMMENT Anyway the game was very poor.... and after the sending off Milan didn't have any chance to win. Juve killed the game but superbly completed their mission. Juve won the Scudetto, only chance is the CL for Milan.... Forza Milan, we will be back and win next year!

# hilhax, MKD 12/03/2006 23:12 The game wasn't interesting at all. The same old story - referees support Juve on the crucial moments of the season. There was an obvious penalty wich "wasn't seen" by the referee even if he was very close. I miss Collina on the pitch. If he was refereeing this game then things would have been different. But, I don'd care much becouse I'm sure we'll win the Champions League and we'll be Champions of Europe instead of being just Champions of Italy.;-) FORZA MILAN!

In one word: VERGOGNA...SHAMEFUL...

Typical Capello strategy where attack is something out of his dictionary..my grandmother could have been in nets for Milan and the scoreline woudl be the same...no threat..no offense..no opportunities...shameful. Non-Serie A fans have to watch this and once again ask: this is the best team in Italy? wow...no wonder they find the game boring..shameful.

Nedved once again much like against Inter showing his lack of class..taking dives all game long and causing players to get thrown out of games for mediocre fouls...shameful.

Vieira unable to stop Kaka except taking him down all day long .. and Gattuso gets thrown out?? shameful..

Ibra dubbed as the best of Serie A is LOCKED by 40 year old Costacurta...

Emerson stops the ball in the Penalty area with his hand and no call...shameful.

We came to play..we came to entertain ... Juve came to bore...shameful.

Men of the Match:

Milan: Nesta.

Juve: De Santis.
Most of the post doesn't even worth reply specially this childish cry for a PK...

But what surprised me is part of Vieira and Kaka bcuz with or without Vieira Kaka was entirly invisible today...

@..IncuboRossonero...if your hatin...hate harder...because we actually proved who is the best in italy...kaka and shev were in a silent mode..coz vieria and emerson did
thier jobs..kaka only came with 1 chance and that was a though ball to inzgay
which buffon rushed out and saved it...

and about the emerson hand-ball....learn the rules of the game..and dont be stupid
like the interista when they dont know how take an in-direct freekick...the ball came to emerson's hand...there was no intension for emerson to bloke it with his hand

...enjoy the battle 4 second place with the nieghbours....

Oh please, Nick. Gattuso was out there trying to kill someone and was rightly sent off for such reckless stupidity. That little rat had it coming. Moreover, if you want to see a diver perhaps take a look at your own Pippo...he's just as bad as Nedved.

Emerson stops the ball in the Penalty area with his hand and no call...shameful.
Aww Nick...I thought you knew the rules of this game? What happened?

?
You mean the two offsides that DID not exist as even the commentators noted...

Please highlight Inzaghi's dives today...I don't recall him falling...except on his own...

Please Andy enlighten me as to when Inzaghi dove...oh yeah maybe above in the picture a FELLOW JUVENTINI posted where you see a hand around his waist...

It was....but his back was to the ball. The letter of the law says that's a hand ball, but the spirit allows the ref to decide....

In addition:it is entirely possible he wasn't looking at Emo at the moment, I suppose...

BACK TO THE BALL...Today a Livorno player got a card because the ball hit his hand...his back was to the ball....

More over, Emerson was FACING NESTA

Did you even watch the game?

Please explain to me how Emerson FACING NESTA and stops the ball with his ELBOW is not a quintessential HAND BALL...

I am waiting

No one is questioning if the ball touch ed Emersn elbow or not, and here I've two questions for ya:

* Did Emerson willingly move his hand to stop the ball ???

* Do ya really know what is HAND BALL ???

His back was to the ball. You might argue the refs lack of a call, but you can't argue that Emo did it intentionally, amico mio.
