I thought the fee was 25-30M. Even so, Hazard is younger with even more promise than Aguero IMO AND we need him more. The fee that clubs mention is always subject to negotiation. ATM say 45M for Aguero, we offer a realistic price of 35M. It wouldn't surprise me if Hazard were bought for around 30M if Real were in no hurry.
I fully agree that we need him more than Sergio, I was just stressing that he isn't cheap...

Yeah Jonathan, the 45m rated international superstar...

We need a LW even more than we need an SS or any other position for that matter! We have five strikers and not one LW. Its the only position we don't have one single player for.
Can we get Aguero and a good LW?

We need a LW more than we need a CB or a LB right now IMO.
you guys hit the point... jerking off to the thought of having a player like aguero is all fine and well, but that will not get us much further. it's the old and never working "we will outscore our opponents" tactic which only works for milan from time to time.

we would be much better of, getting vidal to have a real dense central midfield plus a decent winger in the quality of bastos or above (while i dont rate bastos that much). we have enough strikers and since we wont be able to sell amauri, we can use him as 4th choice striker and just bring in some vargas and vidal for the same amount of money and make us real champions league qualification contenders

We could get Vargas and Bastos for 1 Hazard though, just saying that maybe the squad is better than the star in the case of LW
Quality>quantity. Players like Vargas an Bastos probably wouldn't be in the same squad unless it were by accident. They're both good enough to start it wouldn't work and Vargas will cost too much for a back up. We'll probably keep Pepe to be back up for both our wingers.

i agree here 100% it seems as though the club and fans all want a big name striker , but for that money so much more can be done
Exactly, if we had more money, i'd be all for a big name striker but Matri/Quag/Del Piero should be good enough with Krasic and maybe Bastos on the other side, the defence really let us down last year. With a better LB,Rb and CB we could have finished at least 4th

Quality is all well and good when you have a proper backup which we don't. We need 2 LWs, Bastos/Vargas and a prospect at a stretch, Hazard next year maybe. We can have one star, Aguero and if we play our cards right 2 quality players in Vidal and Vargas. I know we have enough strikers but that illustrates my point. If Aguero gets injured we have ADP etc to cover him, with Hazard we'd have Pepe and that's a Chiementi level of backup,it may as well be a log.

Aguero is a psychological and financial necessity as much as a sporting one. Hazard matters fuck all compared to Aguero in terms of Marketing and PR. We have to consider all of these factors, besides I rate Aguero higher as a player too.

We don't need 2LWs of the same level. Not when we're comparing those two with Hazard. This season we just have serie a to play and Hazard would still have backups. Bad or good, I prefer average backups with great starters than good backups with good starters.

Pepe, De Ceglie, Ziegler and Marchisio can do the job, bad or well they can. And why not just change the setup of the team if Hazard got injured, for example? 4-3-3 would easily fit, adding another midfielder instead of a LW. We really don't need good LW backups instead of a great starter.

Are you guys serious ? Hazard and Sanchez ? Hazard is going to Inter, they've been massaging his balls for a while now, I really doubt we can jump in this late and sign him.

And Sanchez needs to stop being mentioned, he's going to Barcelona. HE SAID IT HIMSELF.

Forget about Aguero, and Rossi, just add another 10-15 millions on top of the ~35 millions and get both Hazard and Aly Cissokho, and the left side should be set for the next 10 some years.
