See, I wouldn't mind getting a LW instead of an SS but I feel like Aguero's only come once in a blue moon, and I don't want to lose him. :frown:
And don't players like Hazard? Theoretically the team would benefit more from purchasing Hazard than Aguero. We have no left wingers, Hazard looks like he is going to be a once in a generation winger, he's young, his price his lower, his wages will be lower. A Matri - Quag/Del Piero attack isn't the classiest in europe but with an in form Krasic, Hazard and Pirlo they would be provided with high class service and as we've seen last season, players like Matri and Quag can put their chances away. It actually baffles me that we have barely inquired about him. He's young, cheap by comparison and covers the position we lack class in the most.

If we were linked to Hazard that would be different story, but it seems like Marotta doesn't even know who Hazard is. I think if we're going to betting a LW this mercato it's going to be: Bastos or Elia, and I think we can get one of those guys + Aguero.

Elia would make a good back up. Bastos I rate but not very highly. He'll make the difference but not what Hazard would. There are so many positives about him it makes no sense to me why we're not interested considering we need a LW the most especially with the 4-2-4. I was watching Siena a bit in italy and it looks like we're going to be relying heavily on wing play. Its absolutely central to Conte's plan of attack it seems and yet we're using all our resources to buy a SS while we have Ziegler for LB and Pepe for LW.

Hazard wants to stay at Lille for another year, If not he would be with RM as we speak .

Yeah we're definitely going to need a LW. I don't think Hazard would come here though, if I remember right he either said the EPL or Spain or nothing.

Bastos + Aguero would be a good move IMO.

We can't have Pepe running our LW.

Hazard isn't cheap by any means! Lille want 40 mil, so almost as much as what Atletico want...

I thought the fee was 25-30M. Even so, Hazard is younger with even more promise than Aguero IMO AND we need him more. The fee that clubs mention is always subject to negotiation. ATM say 45M for Aguero, we offer a realistic price of 35M. It wouldn't surprise me if Hazard were bought for around 30M if Real were in no hurry.

Looks like inter will be signing Jonathan. See how quickly they can wrap deals up compared to us. Marotta is probably even struggling to work out a deal with Agueros dog to come to Turin.
