We've patched up the defense, I know its not a great fix but it should do. If we get Aguero, and lets say Bastos, we got one hell of a chance to enter the Champions League next year. Once we're in CL, we'll have more cash and more appeal. That's when I want a star CM, LB, and CB.
That's been the strategy every summer since 2007.

And look how well its worked out for us

Everyone is panicking because of the press.

Remember guys, the press have to sell their product so sensationalism is their way of life. Since Aguero to Juve has gone quiet during the copa america they are trying to create Rossi to Juve.

I still believe Juve are in the exact same position they have been for more than a month now. Stop listening to these articles about his dad and his cousin and his dog stating where Aguero is going to play.

I am sure Marotta and Paratici are working hard and Im even more sure that Conte is not going to settle for rubbish players.

R E L A X

I have faith that this transfer will happen.

I still think we have a shot at Aguero. I can start up a website and say Juventus offered Atletico 32M + Tiago too, but it doesn't mean anything. I think we have something going on, and hopefully everything will be revealed soon.

The Rossi part, his agents said we needed documents for Licht or we could be looking for an alternative to Aguero which is completely understandable.

Exactly and this thread has become insanely long for absolutely no reason. Nothing substantial has happened in quite a while so don't over read reports. I say we all postpone our worries till after Copa America.

Imo the board is making a mistake when they are searching for a star striker to be the big signing. They should have gone after a midfielder or attacking midfielder.
The attacker will score goals but won't change our playing style at all if he's a box-limited striker.

We were too clueless as a team and you change that by changing the playmakers. Pirlo is one change, but the team needs one bigger change, which should at the same time be the main change.

In other words, go for Sanchez, Robben or someone.

Sanchez is not a world class player YET, no need to gamble, go for someone proven
Call him world class or not, he will completely change our playing style to better the way that no box limited striker can do it, even if you think that the striker is the superior player.
We need a Camo, Nedved or Zidane more than we need a Del Piero at the moment. Much more actually.

If we can't get such player though, then it's clear that if we buy a striker it must be Aguero or whoever is great and available. A player who'll bring back the appeal and will offer more than a pale figure like Giuseppe Rossi.
