"Since I left I think it speaks only of the offer from Juventus. It is very difficult and my agent is handling. If they offer 30, 35 or 40, the club's decision. I prefer to know nothing, what is said whatever. I now only want to think about the team, "

I don't know if some players also are conditioned by what they've seen growing up. The A list teams then and now have been the same. New money teams don't bring that allure with them. And one has to keep that n mind. Of course these things are very personal, and it really comes down to a lifestyle choice a player makes. If its only about the money, then sure ManCity is right ip there, but if you're truly passionate about the game and want to go down in the history books, you gotta go a team with legacy and create yours. For every David Silva there is a Milos Krasic. For every Carlos Tevez there is a Sanchez. For every Eden Dzeko there is a Sergio Aguero!

I happened to read that in such a way that reminds me of the bill pullman speech in independence day :D

I wouldn't worry much about Marotta meeting Rossi's agents. Isn't natural to set up alternatives just incase the Aguero deal collapses?

What kind of player doesn't give a rat's ass about his own future? "Yeah, the club and my agents will decide where I will be spending my next five fuckin' years"

I think he means, we already have a deal, I have already agreed. My agents are doing the rest.

Also, I think he's trying to act professional and make it about the Argentina team in the Copa America, rather than the Sergio Aguero transfer saga. He's just fobbing the questions off, they keep at it, so he gave them a nothing soundbyte.
