Ok say we have put an offer in, Marotta is merely evaluating the situation with Rossi as a backup to Aguero. This also puts pressure on ATM who see that we are meeting with another agent? Real signed Coentrao for like 30ml I highly doubt they can buy without selling now.

I know it is unlikely but he is also the agent for sorrentino, with all this speak of Manninger and Storari gone it is an option?
I hope it's the case... :xfinger:
This is our last chance to sign a world class player. Come on Marotta finsih this shit now. :(

In essence, their roles would overlap. But I don't think Vucinic and Rossi are much different either, so maybe ey could work if Conte plays them on the left of a four pronged attack. Speculating though.

my 5 cents on this

City to offer 40 mil, is offcourse a lie, its journalists linking tevez wanting to leave with aguero's wanting to go

Why would aguero go where his NT teammate absolutely wants to leave ?

Rossi ?
Marotta told before he wanted both, but at this time he is just trolling ATM.

Real madrid ?
wont buy aguero

Chelsea ?
got torrez

Papers got really rich on people like the majority on this forum(and all other)

Its probably not as much about ManCity as it is about Marrotta giving up on this deal to sign a cheaper Rossi. I doubt that'll happen though. Pretty sure is done.

Tevez is only leaving City because he wants to be with his family, not for sporting reasons where the club has just won the FA Cup and is in the Champion's League. There is also nothing to indicate Tevez and Aguero are even close, so I doubt Aguero would be using Tevez as a way to asses his future.

As for Chelsea, Anelka is leaving and Drogba is likely to follow. They need another striker and Aguero perfectly fits the bill.

Personally, I think either Man City or Chelsea are leading the race for Aguero. Juve can't compete with them for cash, chance to win trophies or the prestige of playing in a big league.

Rossi is obviously plan B. But will Marrotta pay the 30 million needed to get him? Barcelona couldn't get Villarreal to lower their demands so I doubt he can. Even if he did Rossi isn't the big name promised.

Maybe they don't need a frickin' meeting because the shit is already set in stone...we are just trying to lighten the wage bill before anything else.

 people thinking Aguero would choose City.

  Sky Sports UK reporting we're in talks with Aguero, the EPL wank boys.
Why is it hard to believe? They're a rich club who are delivering on their promise to becoming title contenders in the biggest league in the world. Why wouldn't a player want to go there and compete for all competitions while earning a healthy paycheck? Maybe last year you could have laughed City off but winning the FA Cup and getting into the Champion's League has shown they mean business.

Aguero wasn't born with a Del Piero jersey on his back. Everything points to him going to the bigger club in the bigger league.

Man City have no history.

No history at all. Del Piero has more history in his right boot than Man city has in their entire history.
