Identify the position you want a player in and go and sign the best player you can for that position.

thats how it should be , but we must remain realistic

we are waiting to sign the other players in midfield depending on what forward we can land, as for example aguero and sanchez require a diffrent setup

if we were certain we could just sign the best, we would have done it allready

That's what we are doing. DP is retiring, we need a new replacement...thus Aguero or Sanchez.

Even choosing between Aguero and Sanchez doesn't really make sense to me.

Sanchez is a primarily creative player, while Aguero is primarily a goal scorer.

They may both, basically, be SS, but they are still very different players.

I think you are looking to far into it. Both have strengths and weaknesses...pair either one up with Matri and you will more than likely get the same result. Goals/creativity. Either way Matri would score about the same IMO and Aguero may/may not assist but will score goals and the same goes for Sanchez with creating more than scoring.
