But the thing is Hustini, it doesnt matter if we offer Atletico 100m, when its extremely unlikely we will get Aguero to even consider us, when we dont have CL spot. As I said, only see us as a last resort option, nothing more. And he wont needing to use his last resort, because he wont have shortage of suitors qualified for CL.

Why do you think Sanchez would be cheaper? In Salary yes, but not fee wise, not significantly atleast, in fact latest info is that apparently we are enticing Udinese with 35m bid for him (plus would let him play CL qfs for them).

Everyone talks about inserting Giovinco here or there, but pretty sure he would be used in that way at all this summer.
Sanchez makes 700k a season at Udinese and Aguero 5m at Atletico. Both would receive a pay increase upon completion of a 30+ million euro move. 3m a season would represent a fair wage for Sanchez considering what he is currently on, whereas Aguero could ask for w/e he wants considering his reputation and the fact he is a more established player after competing in UEFA competitions for a few seasons.

Media reports are saying Aguero would want 7m season. That represents a difference of 4m a season between the 2. After taxes, and across a 5 year contract, that is a 40m euro difference between players. A massive difference that is hard to justify considering Juventus' total revenue and the coming of FFP.

I agree with your point about people randomly inserting Seba into every transfer, but I feel this is a case where it is actually a realistic and beneficial deal for all parties involved.

For Udinese, they receive a player who would have no problem fitting into their team and whose wages they could afford.

For Juventus, they get a tiny albeit worthwhile discount on a player they want, all the while making their bid more appealing over rivals offering money only.

For Giovinco, he gets to play European football during a season where he is trying to earn a Euro 2012 spot, which if he succeeds, increases his value, something a selling club like Udinese would certainly have the foresight to consider when evaluating our bid against higher cash only offers.

Aguero is certainly the more proven player atm, but any1 who has watched Sanchez grow over the past 2 seasons will certainly tell you the difference is negligible, especially when a 40m euro difference separates the 2 over the length of their contracts.

Comparing to Aguero and tevez and possibly benzema's paper talk then it is. Good player but think we need more
We would be LUCKY to get Rossi, who has had a great season. Aguero, Tevez or Sanchez aint gonna happen. Benzema maybe if we send our French legends on his ass and convince him.

Good post, and I welcome either, and we need to invest to get them both, so I dont care about the financial bit, we just desperately need quality players like them, and should make it happen. Difference is I'm convinced there is extremely small chance of Aguero, not for financial reasons, but sporting ones, infact it wont happen at all because of it. While Sanchez is ok chance for sporting reasons wise (unless Inter gets involved....which they are because Moratti confirmed it).

True but on the flip side he could see this as an opportunity to take this club back to its former glory. If convinced of a good project with the new stadium and sound investments (players) he could very well be convinced to come. Especially if he knows that he will be the one to fill the shoes of Del Piero next season. DP is an idol so for a young player like Kun with the world as his oyster, do you come to Juve and fill the shoes of your idol and a great club, join a project and commit to it with a salary you are happy with and drive this massive club to titles?

He could be the focal point for one of the most successful clubs in soccer history...we are destroyed at the moment :)D) but that doesn't mean he couldn't be up to the challenge of driving this club forward. IMO all he needs is a little convincing that the spending doesn't stop with him. He needs to see further ambition all across the starting 11. We already have some champions in the team and players of the highest caliber. Hopefully Conte can make this team look attractive again as well.

I may be a dirty whore, but I'm always happy. :D
And thats whats important. Although, the biggest hooker on this place is probably Nick. I see that dude with a new favorite player and new avatars every day. :D Everything from Aguero and Zarate to Mazzarri.

I agree, good post Kill Cam, only shot we have is if we show we are ambitious by making very good signings elsewhere in the team. But what indications is there for that? He would be IT in that regard. Plus as I said, other clubs can make better signings plus gurantee CL footie, its simply extremely unlikely to happen, best bet, do not hope for this at all.

All we need is a psychologist... or Moggi.

Anyway, we need a badass motherfucker to bring this kiddo. Marotta will obviously get fucked in this war.

We could always try and sign Inler/Hernanes for midfield...Hazard too...there are great players we could go for to improve this team drastically. In all honesty, this season is going to fall upon Conte pretty hard because he has the biggest chore of all: Make this team mentally stronger to avoid collapsing, improving this team's possession play and tighten up the defense.

At the end of the day...if we want to win again, we need to sign players like Kun. If we want to win then we can't be afraid to spend. If club is scared to then they need to make a public announcement that they are looking to buy a house and move permanently in the mid-table region.

Not to mention, in another year or 2 we could have some potentially great players in the Appelts/Sorrensen's, etc.

Even if we spend on big players we shouldn't stop our recruiting in SA.

Lol you say it so casually, sign Hernanes and Hazard, to prove to Aguero we mean bussiness, hehe, even though they are big signings who would need minimum of 20m prolly to get and would need convincing themselves (mainly Hazard).

I was replying to your post about making good signings elsewhere in the team...not really anything to do about convincing Kun rather than making this team great for next season.

I don't wanna see tha Hust depressed yo.

Bring us Aguero for all it takes
A big part of this for me is that we really need an adequate replacement for Del Piero...I think Kun would be the best and I don't think you would find anyone on this planet with in reason that would fit that bill better.

This club is about to lose an icon...they need a new name. Kun should be that name.
