I can't help but feel Sanchez would represent a better value for us. The Chilean would command a fraction of the wages, and we could include players to bring his price down (Giovinco).

As exciting as the prospect of seeing Aguero play in Juve is, I will not fap over his arrival until I see the rest of the starting 11. If signing Aguero means we fill our squad with Ziegler's and Pazienza's, and continue to leak more goals than teams in the bottom of the table, than Marotta did not spend wisely.
Good post and valid point IMO.

Why do you think Sanchez would be cheaper? In Salary yes, but not fee wise, not significantly atleast, in fact latest info is that apparently we are enticing Udinese with 35m bid for him (plus would let him play CL qfs for them).

Everyone talks about inserting Giovinco here or there, but pretty sure he would be used in that way at all this summer.

No risk there, right? here is 35m and let him play in a couple of more games...hope he doesn't get injured. :sergio:

Yeah, but its not that significant to be talking about Sanchez like he is much of a bargain. And Atletico may buy hardball on release fee, but its a confirmed 100% leaving player who wont stay at all, pretty sure that figure will go down.

Do you really think we are going to sign Aguero for full price?
If we do sign him, yes.

I can't actually see Sanchez being bought for 35m either. Anyway, the diff. between that and Aguero's fee, plus the diff. in wages over a 4/5 year period is a significant amount.
