Today we're so spoiled that we complain about a yellow card warning (I include myself here). Back then if at least 3 regulars weren't banned in 1 day, it was a miracle.
See the fight Osman and Jack had last month. Maybe they got a warning, maybe not, but they weren't banned.
If it happened 4 years ago, Jack was going to ban Osman and say that he doesn't want to hear a word about it. Ahmedios would pop up and ask why was Osman banned so Jack would ban Ahmedios. Some poor soul would complain about Ahmedios' silly ban and he'd get banned too. People would then start fighting and accusing Jack that he's a tyrant. 2-3 more bans followed, before Jack was going to lose it, resign as an admin and make everyone here a moderator.
And all these things were happening in 2 hour time span
