i think that diego will be here next year and kun will not come. firstly these comments were not official. i don't know why everybody has diego gone for sure because of these comments. in fact i don't think that aguero is so much better than diego. the fact is that they play in different positions but in a year that a team needs to fix so much, you need to take 100% out of your squad capabilities and use your transfer funds wisely. so giving away diego + around 30 mil for kun, will be one of the worst transfers ever...

... actually it reminds me a little of the etoo - ibra swap.
First of all if we make a deal with Atl Madrid Tiago would surely be involved so the fee would be lower
Aguero couldn`t be a bad transfer as he is amazing
and it reminds nothing as Eto is a striker and scored a lot for Barcelona and Zlatan is also a forward who scored lots of goals for Inter
now I`m not saying Zlatan played horribly at Barca it is just Eto is way more suited as he is very fast and with Messi`s passes he is a perfect fit

as for us Diego could succeed but in order for that to happen we need to play a formation that suits him and the 4-4-2 might be problematic for him
Aguero would fit any formation since he is a forward and his pace is something we really lack

Zlatan Eto was just a striker+$ for a striker
Diego Aguero is more about formation
Diego is a great player and I`m sure he would succeed given a chance in a formation that suits him but the question is will he fit in Del Neri`s formation

i was talking more in terms of quality. diego is a talented player and he has shown it. aguero is also a talented player and he has shown it. the same goes for eto and ibra.

the fact i wanted to mention is that a coach who has a squad like ours and a limited budget for transfers, should not do something like this. even if aguero costs diego + tiago + 10 mil, i would be against the transfer.

i would prefer to try diego as a second striker than sell him for kun. we can also play a 4-2-3-1 or give him a free role behind our target man just like cassano in samp this year. remember that henry came here and played as a right winger. then he played as a striker in arsenal and he succeeded.

anyway, this deal won't happen. we have some very important positions to fill this year. and i think that diego deserves another opportunity in a well structured and tactically aware team.

Kun will play better with Diego in the squad. As a matter of fact, given our current line-up it is vital that we keep Diego if we spend the cash on Aguero.
If you play a game where they will have four CB's(quite easily the case in italy), we'll need more creativity and options. Tthe defenders must be limited by the amount of cards they can receive and shouldn't be able to manhandle the creative players.
If you play them alone... we all saw what happened with Diego this year: He has 3 players tackling him already and he still hasn't received the ball.
You saw the second Argentina game. Messi/Diego/Aguero are the same type of players - cannot defend/play with head... But Messi and Aguero were just awesome together and I believe Diego and Aguero would be as well.

Of course that doesn't leave a lot of space for Giovinco, but if we get Diego around the CM position... why not?
