Break the bank on Aguero if he is available. We have a guaranteed world beater for a decade at least. That sounds better to me.
Aguero would be great, but signing i feel that with Giovinco, Diego, and Krasic/Vargas/Di Maria we would have enough of these creative type of players that we should focus on a poacher.

Amauri is not good enough, Iaquinta is injured too often and is a good rotational player, and Trezeguet might not stay. we need replacement, even if it is not priority number one

Aguero would take of the DP role, no? I mean I love Gio and all if I had to make space for Aguero I would send out Gio/Dp/IQ...fuck it, one is old, one we want gone and the other never plays, so why does it matter?

Under Lippi/Capello we had Camo(Krasic)/Nedved(Vargas/Di Maria) and DP(Aguero) in his prime...I don't see the issue. Diego is the issue? Well, either is fits or he doesn't fit...Aguero does, so do Krasic and Di Maria...much better actually.

If we had at least a 'good' defense to back him up, I would be all for him to sign with us. But not with Grosso, De Ceglie, Zebina and Grygera back there.
Ok. So sell Grosso, De Ceglie, Z and Gygera....just buy Kun along with fixing the defense.

Selling players shouldn't be that hard. I'm not making it sound any more simple than members here throwing out a back 4 that would guarantee clean sheets.

Hustini - I am supporting your Kun views a 110% and while most of the others here are partially right, that even Aguero would be in an impossible to win scenario with our defence, I think that actually he would improove even the defenders.
They say the best defence is attack and with our previous forwards we neither got the speed, nor the flair in attack to keep a team on the backpedal. True it has to do quite a lot with our MIDs are well, but I think a better setup forward (and Kun-Benzema/Dzeko is more than just better) would allow our defence to take a breather and /given their age/ that would definitely help.
We would still need new defenders, but some of the old ones might make it as subs in such a new team???

Aguero can do something none of our strikers can do. DP used to but not anymore. He scores goals with either foot, both are deadly. He creates for himself unlike useless players like Amauri who for 3m a year supposedly needs "crosses" to be effective, his touch is infinitely more valuable than a hee-haw IQ's, as deadly in front of goal as Trez, and a wizard with the ball from all areas of the attack like DP used to be.

If ever there was a player on this planet to adequately fill the shoes of Alessandro Del Piero this is the guy. I challenge anyone to propose someone else better without considering money for a change.

I'm telling you guys, in a 442 he will be ten times more deadly than Diego so keeping Diego as another shot shouldn't be the problem, its a matter of who will bring this team more glory and end product. I'd like to keep Diego as well but any sane person will tell you that if the chance arose to sign Kun and is passed up then a grave mistake was made.

He may dive, but no one knows that art better than DP does. If that's his only flaw then bend me over your knee and teach me a lesson.

Break the bank for defense, not on this guy.
We don't have to break the bank for defence, all we need is Bonucci and Criscito and we're good.

Caceres, Bonucci, Chiellini and Criscito as our defence will be very strong.

Lets get this kid!

Check the Pepe thread. What is there to be optimistic about anyway JCK?

I am sure you will be moping by the end of the Mercato as well :sigh:
I don't want to check anything because I don't see any official announcement yet.

In the meantime you can continue crying over headlines from Tuttosport and goal.com. I, on the other hand, will enjoy the early summer in Sweden.

Remember last season, the Alonso to Juve deal was also finished according to the newspapers (which are only interested in selling their shit), well, I didn't see an Alonso in a Juve shirt this year.
